Group Therapy for Young Adults

1. When: Thursdays, 8:00pm - 9:15pm

2. Ages: 18 to 24 years old

3. Where: 10339-A Democracy Lane
   Fairfax, VA 22030

4. Cost: $80 per group session

5. Goal: To help in differentiation from family, increase independence, and support transition into adulthood.

6. Group Topics: Relationships, Self-Identity, Goal Setting, Manageing Mood and Anxiety, Separating from Family of Origin, and Coping with the Social Pressures of Adulthood.

7. Initial screening appointment(s) determine a personâs appropriateness for group therapy. Participation in a group need not interfere with existing therapy. We work collaboratively with other therapists and mental health care providers.
