• Jenny Eckert LCSW, RPT

Jenny is a Virginia State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Jenny received her BSW and MSW at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She practiced social work in North Carolina before moving back to Virginia. Jenny specializes in using play and expressive arts therapy. She has public speaking experience on the national and local level.

Counseling Experience

Jenny's counseling experience includes managing a team of clinicians who counsel children at a local non-profit agency. She has vast experience in crisis intervention, design and facilitation of support and education groups as well as bereavement groups for children and teens. She has done extensive work with children and their families who are coping with chronic illness. Jenny's area of expertise is around grief and loss issues in children and teens, and she is trained to help children with anxiety and anger management.
