Social Skills Group for Children

  7. To help children learn about friends and understand their social interactions.


  9. Making and Keeping Friends, Reading Social Cues, Understanding Boundaries, Peer Pressure, Coping Skills, Anger Management and Bullying, Self-Esteem, Assertiveness, and Feeling Expression.

  10. Initial screening appointment(s) determine a child’s appropriateness for group therapy. Participation in a group need not interfere with existing therapy. We work collaboratively with other therapists and mental health care providers.
